The other day I made vegetarian chili slow cooker style. It turned out pretty well but had a little bit of a taste I didn't like. I figured out what my issue with it was and am posting the recipe after it was corrected.
1 can lentils
1 can kidney beans
2 green peppers chopped
1 onion chopped
2 cans diced tomatoes with juice
1 can tomato paste
1 celery stalk chopped
chili powder
cayenne powder
garlic powder
salt
pepper
Put all ingrediants in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Remember to drain and rinse beans and lentils before adding. Add seasonings to your taste. I don't make mine too spicy as the kids don't like it that way!

I would recommend real garlic instead of powdered. So delish!
thanks Paula!! I love real garlic- and normally do use it but didn't have any (or forgot to check!!)
Our family's favourite beverage is water with lemon juice. We have this policy when we go shopping - always buy lemons! Lately we have started to take up the same policy when it comes to garlic.
