My kids could absolutely live on hotdogs. They just LOVE them. I do too but try not to eat them too often. When we do indulge in this yummy treat I get turkey dogs. They are fairly low in fat and calories,thus lower in points (Weight Watchers) than other higher fat beef versions. I like to just boil them but I know some people don't like them that way so to give them some crunch after they've been boiled you can either microwave them for 30-40 seconds or toss them in a fry pan sprayed with PAM.
Pair them with a whole wheat bun, saurkraut ( a family favourite!!) baked beans and you have a quick, fairly healthy, well balanced meal everyone enjoys!
